When is the best time to visit Karpacz?

Late spring and early autumn are best for quiet hikes — the trails are less crowded. Keep in mind, however, that from 15 March to the end of May some trails in Karkonosze National Park (KPN) may be closed (to protect the black grouse), and outside the season some attractions have shorter opening hours.
