Ptasi Park ZOObaczysko (Bird Park) in Sosnówka
Ptasi Park ZOObaczysko is a bird park with free-flying parrots, ornamental birds and owls at ul. Karkonoska 28a in Sosnówka, about 9 km from the centre of Karpacz. According to the park’s profile, a standard ticket costs 36 PLN, a reduced ticket 32 PLN, and children under 3 enter free (as of September 2026).
What is Ptasi Park ZOObaczysko?
It is a family-run park in Sosnówka (Podgórzyn municipality) where parrots fly freely around the garden with no roof overhead. They share it with ornamental birds — including pheasants, peacocks, ornamental chickens and Indian runner ducks — as well as owls and rabbits. The garden covers more than half a hectare, and paths also lead through a shady wooded area.
What can you do there?
- Watch parrots in flight up close and take photos.
- Feed the animals with food made specially for them.
- Stroke a bird if it comes to you or lands on your shoulder.
- Walk the garden paths — about 500 m in total.
What is new in 2026?
In summer 2026 the park showed Patagonian conure chicks and young owls on its profile. In April 2026 the ZOObaczysko brand announced a second site with mammals, Futrzasty Park ZOObaczysko, which is why the Sosnówka park is now called Ptasi Park (Bird Park) ZOObaczysko.
Who is it for?
- Families with small children — there is a big sandpit with toys, and children under 3 enter free.
- Older children and adults — there is a maze and giant garden chess.
- Anyone who wants a rest — benches stand both in the shade and in the sun.
When to go
The park is entirely outdoors, so a dry day is best. Opening hours change during the year — usually 10:00–18:00 in season and shorter outside it — so check the park’s Facebook profile (opens in a new tab) before you go. It is about 15 minutes by car from the centre of Karpacz.
