- Hospital emergency department (SOR) — the nearest one for Karpacz is at the regional hospital in Jelenia Góra, ul. Ogińskiego 6, phone +48 75 753 71 18. Details: Emergency department Jelenia Góra. In a sudden threat to life or health, the hospital advises going to the SOR immediately or calling 112 or 999.

Hospital notice of 17 July 2026: due to temporary staff shortages, out-of-hours care in Jelenia Góra is temporarily closed from Saturday 8:00 to Sunday 18:00; during that time patients are asked to go to Szpital Bukowiec in Kowary. - GP clinic POZ Karpacz, ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja 71 — Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00, phone +48 883 358 138.
- Centrum Medyczne Karpacz (ul. Myśliwska 13) is a specialist hospital without an emergency department.
- Pharmacies — there are pharmacies in Karpacz, but we found no official, up-to-date list of their opening hours; check the hours on the door or by phone.

Karkonosze National Park notice (as of 14 September 2026): because of damage to the dam on the Łomnica stream in Karpacz, it is strictly forbidden to cross the fences and signs on the side of ul. Olimpijska and the yellow trail; according to the park, going near the damaged dam is dangerous to health and life. Current closures are published in the park’s trail notice (opens in a new tab) (in Polish). Park trails are open from dawn (one hour before sunrise) to dusk (one hour after sunset).
