How much does parking cost in Karpacz?

The minimum fee is 8 PLN (10 PLN for minibuses and coaches), and parking time is proportional to the amount paid. Car parks are paid 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no seasonal break.

The legal basis is order no. 0050.88.2025 of the Mayor of Karpacz of 22 October 2025 (opens in a new tab), amended by order no. 0050.95.2025 of 5 November 2025 (opens in a new tab) (both in Polish; the amendment extended car rates to the ul. Wielkopolska car park). The orders take effect 14 days after publication in the Official Journal of Lower Silesia. Data checked on 15 September 2026.

Where to park when you are going to…

Wang Temple	The closest municipal car park is no. 4 on ul. Przewodników Górskich. The Wang parish also mentions car parks on ul. Karkonoska and at ul. Spokojna 1 — the cheapest, according to the parish, is the “Przy Lesie” car park. More: Wang Temple — parking.
Mount Śnieżka	Blue trail from Wang — car park no. 4; Kopa chairlift and black trail — car park no. 7. There is a car park at Orlinek (red trail), but sources give different rates, so we do not quote a price. More: Mount Śnieżka — parking.

Can you park for free in Karpacz?

We have not found any confirmed all-day free public car parks in Karpacz. You can park without paying only in two cases:

• 30 minutes free at car parks no. 1 (lower section), 3, 12 and 13 — once a day per number plate and at one chosen car park from this group only. Take a free ticket from the machine and leave it behind the windscreen.
• Exemptions — vehicles of disabled people or carrying them, displaying a disabled parking card, in designated bays; emergency and service vehicles on duty (e.g. police, ambulance, fire brigade, municipal police, utility emergency services).

How to pay

At the machine by card, BLIK or coins, or in the moBILET, AnyPark, Flowbird and SkyCash apps. Put a machine ticket behind the windscreen; in an app the ticket is linked to your number plate, so enter it correctly.

Coaches, minibuses and heavy vehicles

• Vehicles designed to carry more than 9 people including the driver may park only at car park no. 8 (10 PLN per hour, 50 PLN per day).
• At the other car parks, vehicles over 3.5 t gross weight may not enter.

What is the fine for not paying?

Not paying carries a 250 PLN surcharge; parking a vehicle for more than 9 people in car spaces carries 1000 PLN. Unpaid surcharges are enforced using vehicle register (CEPiK) data, plus the cost of obtaining it. The car parks are run for the municipality by Park In Sp. z o.o. EV charging

According to OpenStreetMap there are charging stations near ul. Obrońców Pokoju (Power EV, 2 points), ul. Turystyczna and ul. Sarnia. We have not checked them on site — confirm availability and prices with the operator.
