Where to eat in Karpacz
In Karpacz you can eat at restaurants in the centre along the promenade (ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja), in Upper Karpacz by Wang Temple, around Biały Jar, at a few places outside the centre, and in the mountain huts below Mount Śnieżka: Dom Śląski and Strzecha Akademicka. The list includes places whose activity we confirmed on their official websites (checked 15 September 2026).
Where to eat in central Karpacz?
Most places are on the promenade, ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja, and on ul. Parkowa. On the promenade you will find Beef & Rock with steaks and burgers, Jaśkowa Izba, Nourt, serving breakfast from 8:00, and Sowiduch with its own brewery. On ul. Parkowa, next to the Kolorowa recreation centre, is U Petiego, and on the same street the Hotel Rezydencja restaurant and café.
The promenade is being rebuilt in 2026, so the way to some places may temporarily differ from usual.
Where to eat in Upper Karpacz and by Wang Temple?
By Wang Temple, at ul. Na Śnieżkę 3, the Tarasy Wang restaurant has a terrace facing Mount Śnieżka, with a wooden kiosk next to it selling soups, pierogi and waffles. At ul. Karkonoska 14, Hotel Gołębiewski opens its Zielona and Czerwona restaurants and the Patio Café to all visitors.
Where to eat in Biały Jar?
Around Biały Jar, where routes towards Mount Śnieżka begin, you can eat at Jaśkowy Zapiecek in the Biały Jar residence, at Szum i Rosa with signature dishes and pizza, at Szyszka Smaku in the Greno hotel, and at the WinterFood bistro with its panoramic terrace.
Where to eat outside the centre?
In quieter parts of town there is the Italian Albero at ul. Sarnia 21A, Dwór Liczyrzepy at ul. Obrońców Pokoju 4B (about 800 m from the centre), the Dziki Potok Hotel restaurant at ul. Myśliwska 22 and Sutra at Artus Resort, ul. Wilcza 9. Dziki Potok says it has free parking, and Dwór Liczyrzepy and Sutra say their car parks are free for restaurant guests.
Can you eat in the mountain huts on the trail?
Yes. The Dom Śląski mountain hut below Mount Śnieżka serves hearty mountain meals such as żurek (sour rye soup), pierogi, kwaśnica (sauerkraut soup) and potato pancakes with goulash, plus homemade cakes; in summer it runs a terrace bar and grill. Strzecha Akademicka (1,258 m) is open all year and has two dining rooms and a buffet. Neither hut lists kitchen hours on its website, so check before you set off. There is no Polish mountain hut on the summit of Mount Śnieżka — bring snacks.

Practical tips
- In high season and on rainy days restaurants in the centre get busy. Eat earlier than usual or book a table — each place’s “contact” page explains how to book.
- Sowiduch, Szum i Rosa, Albero and Hotel Gołębiewski, among others, list children’s menus on their websites.
- Sowiduch, U Petiego and Dwór Liczyrzepy describe themselves as pet-friendly.
- Heading for the trail? Check the hut’s kitchen hours before you go. There is no Polish hut on Mount Śnieżka.

Children’s menus are offered at Sowiduch on the promenade (with a play corner, high chairs and a changing table), Szum i Rosa in Biały Jar (children’s dishes, play corner, changing table) and the Italian Albero. Hotel Gołębiewski runs the Smakolandia children’s restaurant (12:00–13:30 and 16:00–17:30, paid unless included in a hotel package), and the Dziki Potok Hotel restaurant has high chairs.
By Wang Temple, at ul. Na Śnieżkę 3, the Tarasy Wang restaurant has a terrace facing Mount Śnieżka. It opens daily from 11:00 until 20:30–21:00 (its website gives two closing times). A wooden kiosk next to it sells soups, pierogi and waffles.
