Where can you see Wielki Staw in the Karkonosze?

The best view of Wielki Staw (the Great Pond) is from the red trail on the ridge of the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains), above the Kocioł Wielkiego Stawu cirque. From Samotnia you can get there via Spalona Strażnica in about an hour. You cannot go down to the shore — it is a strictly protected area.
