How long does it take to climb Mount Śnieżka?

From Karpacz, the hike up Mount Śnieżka usually takes 3–4 hours one way, depending on the trail and your pace.

  • From the Wang Temple via the Samotnia, Strzecha Akademicka and Dom Śląski mountain huts: about 9 km, about 3.5 hours.
  • From the Wang Temple via Polana, Pielgrzymy and Słonecznik: about 10 km, just under 4 hours.
  • The red trail from Orlinek via Kocioł Łomniczki (the Łomniczka cirque): about 6.6 km, about 3 hours — shorter but steep; this section is closed in winter.
  • Quickest option: the chairlift to Kopa, then about 1 hour on foot (about 2.3 km).
