Is climbing Mount Śnieżka difficult?

In summer and in good weather, climbing Mount Śnieżka is within reach of most healthy people, including children who are used to mountain hiking — you just need to choose the right trail and wear suitable shoes.

In winter, conditions on the ridge can be very difficult (wind, ice, poor visibility), and some trails — including the red trail via Kocioł Łomniczki — are closed. Check the Karkonosze National Park announcements before you set off.
