Kopalnia Podgórze — how to get there

Kopalnia Podgórze is on ul. Podgórze in Kowary (car parks from no. 54). It is about 25 minutes by car from the centre of Karpacz (about 14 km) and 35–40 minutes from central Jelenia Góra (about 22 km).

By car

Enter “ul. Podgórze 54, Kowary” or the coordinates given by the mine — 50.760833, 15.840417 — into your navigation. Then drive uphill along ul. Podgórze, following the signs to the uranium mine; you will pass three free car parks.

Sztolnie Kowary, a separate attraction with its own ticket office, is on the same street — make sure you go to the right one.
