Kopalnia Podgórze — parking

Kopalnia Podgórze in Kowary has three free car parks for visitors along ul. Podgórze. The lowest starts at ul. Podgórze 54, and the highest is right next to the ticket office.

  • Car park 1 (lower) — at ul. Podgórze 54, about 400 m uphill walk to the ticket office; often used by coaches.
  • Car park 2 (middle) — higher up the same road, with a shorter walk left.
  • Car park 3 (upper) — at the ticket office, a few metres from the mine entrance; best for families with small children and older visitors.

All three are free for visitors. In high season, at weekends and on holidays, the steep section of the road has alternating traffic controlled by lights.
