The town describes car park no. 14 on ul. Wielkopolska as a buffer (park-and-ride) car park near the railway station and bus stop. The town order lists it as item 13; car rates were extended to it by order no. 0050.95.2025 of 5 November 2025.
How much does parking cost?
You pay 8 PLN for the first and each further hour, and a day ticket costs 40 PLN, valid until midnight on the day of purchase. There are no free 30 minutes at car park no. 14 — they only apply at car parks no. 1 (lower section), 3, 12 and 13. The minimum fee is 8 PLN. Why a buffer car park?
The town encourages visitors to leave their car here and continue by public transport — no hunting for a space in the centre or in Upper Karpacz. Trains from Jelenia Góra run to Karpacz again (the service resumed in June 2025), and regional and tourist buses run in season.
If you leave your car for the whole day, the day ticket costs 40 PLN and is valid until midnight.
