Chojnik Castle — getting there from Karpacz
From Karpacz, drive about 25 minutes to Sobieszów, a district of Jelenia Góra, and walk up: the red trail (about 1.9 km) and the black trail (about 1.6 km) start at the “Chojnik” national park ticket point. The climb usually takes about an hour.
By car from Karpacz
Sobieszów is about 17 km from central Karpacz. Set your navigation to Sobieszów and the “Chojnik” park ticket point; the map below shows the castle. There are paid car parks near the trails, but the castle website does not publish their rates.
Without a car
Koleje Dolnośląskie trains and regional buses run from Karpacz to Jelenia Góra. Sobieszów is a district of Jelenia Góra — check the onward connection in a journey planner.
