Termy Cieplickie — thermal baths near Karpacz
Termy Cieplickie (Cieplice Thermal Baths) is a complex of thermal water pools, slides and a spa zone at ul. Park Zdrojowy 5 in Jelenia Góra-Cieplice, about 25–30 minutes by car from central Karpacz. It is open daily from 8:00 to 22:00, and a 2-hour standard pool ticket costs 52 PLN (54 PLN in July and August, as of September 2026).
How far is Termy Cieplickie from Karpacz?
Cieplice, the spa district of Jelenia Góra, is about 25–30 minutes by car from central Karpacz (around 16 km). What is there?
- Thermal pools for swimming and leisure, with water at 27–36°C and 1,155 m² of water surface in total.
- Two slides — a tube slide and a three-lane family slide.
- Paddling pools for toddlers in the indoor area.
- Outdoor thermal pools open all year, plus a seasonal outdoor pool in summer.
- A spa zone with two Finnish saunas, a steam sauna, an infrared sauna, three jacuzzis, a snow cave and heated loungers.
When is it quieter?
On rainy days, at weekends and in high season it can get crowded; mornings are usually calmer. Entry between 8:00 and 9:00 is cheapest, but only the swimming pool and the Norwegian thermal pool are open then — the spa opens at 9:00.
How long does a ticket last?
A 2-hour ticket covers a standard stay of 135 minutes, after which a per-minute surcharge applies. An “unlimited” ticket lets you stay until closing at 22:00.
