Nad Łomniczką hut — how to get there

You reach the Nad Łomniczką hut on the red trail from Orlinek on ul. Olimpijska in Karpacz — about 3 km on a wide forest road, 1–1.5 hours on foot. From Jelenia Góra to Karpacz it is about 25–30 minutes by car.

  1. Drive to “ul. Olimpijska, Karpacz” (near the Orlinek ski jump), or take the direct train to Karpacz and a local bus or taxi up.
  2. Follow the red trail (part of the Main Sudetes Trail) along a wide forest road.
  3. After about 3 km and 1–1.5 hours of gentle climbing you reach the hut in the Łomniczka valley.
