Kamieńczyk Waterfall — getting there from Karpacz

From Karpacz to Kamieńczyk Waterfall in Szklarska Poręba it is about 40 minutes by car (around 30 km) to the car park on national road no. 3. Since 16 June 2026, however, the red and black trail section from that car park to Rozdroże pod Kamieńczykiem has been closed until further notice, so check the town notice first.

By car from Karpacz

Drive about 30 km (roughly 40 minutes) to the car park on national road no. 3 towards Jakuszyce. The map below shows the waterfall; car parks and rates are on the parking page. Detours around the closed trail section are shown only on the map in the town notice (opens in a new tab) (in Polish).

On foot from Szklarska Poręba

The waterfall lies on the red trail (Main Sudetes Trail) from the town centre to Hala Szrenicka; trail descriptions give about an hour from the centre.

Without a car

Koleje Dolnośląskie trains and regional buses run from Karpacz to Jelenia Góra, and a railway line continues to Szklarska Poręba. In autumn 2026 replacement buses run between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska Poręba Górna — according to the town notice of 31 August 2026, from 31 August to 24 October. Check the timetable with the operator.
