Szklarka Waterfall — getting there from Karpacz
From Karpacz it is about 35 minutes by car (around 25 km) to the “Szklarka” park ticket office on national road no. 3 between Piechowice and Szklarska Poręba. From there the waterfall is a 10–15-minute walk on a wide path.
By car from Karpacz
Head for national road no. 3 (ul. Jeleniogórska) between Piechowice and Szklarska Poręba — about 25 km and 35 minutes from central Karpacz. The path starts at the “Szklarka” ticket office right by the road; the map below shows the waterfall.
Without a car
Koleje Dolnośląskie trains and regional buses run from Karpacz to Jelenia Góra, and a railway line continues to Szklarska Poręba. In autumn 2026 replacement buses run between Jelenia Góra and Szklarska Poręba Górna (until 24 October, according to the town notice of 31 August 2026). From central Szklarska Poręba, trail descriptions give about 35 minutes (about 1.8 km) on the green trail along the Kamienna river.
