Dziki Wodospad — how to get there
Dziki Wodospad is in Upper Karpacz, near the lower station of the Kopa chairlift on ul. Olimpijska. From the car parks on that street it is a few minutes’ walk; on foot from the pedestrian street in central Karpacz it takes about 40 minutes uphill.
Warning — Karkonosze National Park notice (as of 15 September 2026): because of damage to the dam on the Łomnica stream in Karpacz, crossing the fences and markings from the Olimpijska street side and the yellow trail is strictly prohibited; going near the damaged dam is dangerous. Do not cross the fences and check the current KPN notice (opens in a new tab) before your visit.
By car: enter “ul. Olimpijska, Karpacz” and follow signs to the Kopa chairlift — a few minutes from the town centre, about 25–30 minutes from Jelenia Góra.
On foot: about 40 minutes uphill from the centre. In 2026 the pedestrian street on ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja is being rebuilt (planned completion December 2026); it is passable, but slower.
Without a car: take the direct train to Karpacz, then a local bus or taxi (Bolt operates in Karpacz).
