Mount Śnieżka — tickets and fees (opens in a new tab)

Hiking Mount Śnieżka from Karpacz requires a Karkonosze National Park ticket: 11 PLN standard and 5.50 PLN reduced for one day (rates valid since 1 April 2025, as of September 2026). Children under 7 enter free.

  • Free entry: children under 7, residents of Karpacz, Kowary, Podgórzyn, Jelenia Góra, Piechowice and Szklarska Poręba, and holders of the Polish Large Family Card.
  • Reduced (50%): school pupils and students, pensioners, people with disabilities and active-duty soldiers.
  • No entry fees on 16 January, 24 May and 10 August.
  • A Kopa chairlift ticket (up, or up and down) includes the park fee for that day; a down-only ticket does not.

Where to buy in Karpacz

Ticket offices WANG (at Wang Temple, all year) and KOPA (at the chairlift lower station, all year), plus seasonal offices ORLINEK and POLANA. You can also buy online before your hike.
